Well done! Isn't it nice to have storage and then be able to be stripped down? The flexibility to transform the Sportsters is amazing! Enjoy your 48 bagger.

Looks like stock touring bags. I'm usually not a fan of bags on Sportsters but your 48 is done well. Looks kinda like a mini Road King.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments! I appreciate it.
The bags are made by CavalryFiberglass, got them on ebay. They are hand laid cloth, not ABS plastic, or chopper gun. Very well made.
I live in California where it can be 30 degrees in the morning and 90 by the afternoon so being able to stow a heavy jacket or flannel is great. I can also legally transport my XD.45 now because they lock.
Thanks again.
RTW.

Very cool !! Not being a dick but wouldn't it have been easier to turn a 1200 c into a sportster bagger ??

Yea it is, and thanks.
This morning @ 7 A.M. it was almost 70 degrees, and by 7 P.M. it was in the 50's. Storage rules !

Looks great. With the big headlight, bigger tank and bags it works. If you kept the peanut tank on then it would have been weird looking imo.
Good Job.

Looks good. I was thinking about trading my 48 in for a Bob, but the 48 is more Bob than Bob. Makes the Bobs look like Roberts.
