I just bought an Iron and I'm looking to get an ape hanger on it. I'm thinking of narrow 12" and when I was going through the HD forums I found this picture...
belongs to hutch08 . so what do you think of that bar? is it too narrow?
I've read too many posts talking about Road6Customs bars like the one below...
belongs to fatfurious2 . which one of those two bars looks nice on the Iron?
what about the rise? 12" or 14"? I have 16" on my Heritage and I've noticed the higher you go with the bars the less control you'd get ...
the friscos aren't really ape hangers, tiny baby ape's maybe. have you ever ridden with apes before? bike is definitley a bit more squirly and you'll feel like a windsail on the hiway. just so you know. id try 12's or 14's first if this is your first set. then go higher if you want.
