Last night I went on a joyride on some country roads. Met a suicidal rabbit who tried to tackle my bike and lost. Couple of bumps and it was all over. Play Taps for Mr. Bunny.
I'm a newer rider and remember my MSF instructer say some animals you crunch and some you have to swerve to avoid (deer, bear, T-Rex etc). If safety is at issue, what's the biggest animal you guys would rather hit than try to avoid?
i had a suicidal partridge fly into the side of my bike lol.struck the a/c then my leg.but fortunately ive never hit anything bigger.glad ya didnt dump the bike.
My room mate hit a large dog on a dirt road at slow speed. Dog would always come out and bark at people driving by. The dog ran home, my room mate got some bad road rash on his shoulder and broke off the peg on the brake side. Dog stayed away after that, most of the bike got fixed.

I hit a ground squirl once that almost took me out. Was mid turn and he ran under my front tire. Slid the tire a little but I was able to straighten it up
