I thought (and tried) to move my front turn signal lights yesterday down to the lower tree like you have, did you just chop that little nub off the light mounts to put them there?
thanks guys i welded 2 tabs to the front of the swingarm and then bend some 1/2" steel tube and welded it to the fender to add structure and then welded sheet metal on top of them to prtect the ecu and stuff in front of the rear tire... and yes i made the rear supports myself out of a
1/2" aluminum tube and i still have to get everything painted, i wanted to wait till it was 100% to start a thread but i couldnt hold back after i seen how nice it came out, ill post some pics i took through the process to give you a better idea and just to clarify this is my first time doing fab work on a bike so my way may not be the best but i like how it came out especially cause i did it all for about 15 bucks lol
Awesome work!
Any chance I can convince you to make the same fender struts for me, hah
One question though.. So what if you need to remove the rear fender for any reason ?
