ahh just bustin dude...you're a good sport though. at least you have a good reason.
I have the road 6 customs eight inch bars.. The company was good to deal with and the bars are great.. If they don't make it in chrome look for a pair of Santee bars I think they have something like that in chrome.
i have the road6 12" bars, absolutely love them. good company to deal with as well, i was impressed with how well the bars are made, welds are really nice.
luckster, i had the same dilemma as you in deciding between the 12's and 14's. to put your mind at ease take a trip to home depot/lowes and pick up some 3/4" pvc (O.D 1") and mock up a set similar to the road6 to determine if you like the 12's or 14's better. for me the 14's were getting a little too much into my shoulder, so went with the 12's. $5 in pvc and elbows helped me out a lot before actually ordering.
just a heads up, the angles are pretty aggressive and makes it challenging to internally wire. but if you set aside a day and some patience you'll be fine.
Nice idea sport d I think thats definately what Im going to do. Just to get the idea of how they look and feel in person. Spending that amount of money I want to make sure they are what I want. Thanks for the input everyone!
I have a set of the 12's and theyre great. People always think theyre RSD bars. The Z bars are really popular right now. I see alot of them on the Army post Im at (which irks me to no end) and in my unit (which makes me consider replacing them) and R6C customer service people are really friendly. They forgot to send me a t-shirt with my purchase, and when I emailed em, they appologized and got one right to me.
Ok guys last question here before I go ahead with these, I noticed that they sell a bar and cable kit. The kit seems to be priced right, but my only question is if anyone know's the quality of the cable kit. Or if I would be better off getting a cable kit else where thanks!
