I'm interested in one too, I have the VO2 and have not been able to find anything. I run mine with just that "skullcap" so it's open all the way around. Not sure how it would hold up in anything more than light rain...
Excuse my ignorance, but why would one need that? To keep the water out of the carb while you play in the rain? If so, how does that work without starving the air flow? If I'm way off base just ignore me, I'm "learnen"
That's the air cleaner that's fatter at the bottom right? That's why they don't have one it wouldn't stay on.
I was told from DK the filters are fine in rain even without the sock, but not to spray a pressure washer directly onto the filter even with the sock. Washing is the only time I use mine.
well its got a backplate so i could rig something up I suppose, having a open filter still makes me nervous. especially living in the mid ohio valley, sunny one second and pouring the next. I wish I knew if any of the K&N wraps fit it.
I have a RSD slip on rain sock for my RSD filter. Most company's have them for around $30. Outerwears makes them also. It's nice to have if you all of a sudden get stuck in a rain storm with an open element filter!
A little water through the filter never hurt anything, actually helps take some of the carbon buildup out of the head. I have paper filters and have done a lot of rain riding, on my bikes with points it is the electronics that give me fits before the air.
If its parked you might just get some cheap disposable shower caps for the job.
