no you shouldn't need lines unless your's are to long, judging from your pic. and they're so easy to install. just losen at the mounts, then take off the clutch/left switch housing, then take the mounts off and loosen the right switch housing/throttle, slide the bar from your throttle/right switch housing and you just removed your bars. installation is reverse of removal. hope this helps
well my T.S. barely touched with 32 inch pullback bars and a 4 inch riser with a 3.3 gallon tank (its not as wide, but its taller). so i think you might be ok with a wider pullbackbar. or a straight bar. "might". don't beat me up if i'm wrong.
