clutch problems

Default clutch problems
I have a 2007 1200L, I was taking the riding test at the DMV and revved the engine a little high, when I went to start the second portion of the test the clutch would not engage, I had to push the bike home and noticed that while with the bike in neutral I had the full weight of the bike but with the engine on the bike was pulling slightly making my walk home a little easier, any idea what this could be ?

Clutch needs adjusting, consult your manual.

There's a good video on YouTube also. It's an easy procedure, just don't skip any of the steps.

If the clutch went out that quick, it's not an adjustment issue. Something broke.
