Default not the average shock question...

anybody swapped their stock 883 low/custom shocks out for aftermarket ones? i know somebody on here did, and i would like to know if you would like to part with your stock ones. i don't really care how the new ones ride or do you bottom out, this is not one of those post. i just want your old stock low/custom shocks for the rear. my 883R shocks are 13 1/4inches long and my bike has this 70's dirt bike look to it in the rear. (it doesn't help that i live down a dirt road and its always muddy or dirty) but i would like the low/custom 12/11.5 inchers. to go buy new one's that are way to expensive is crazy. so if you just want to get rid of 'em for nothing are a "small" fee then let me know.

thanks in advance,

wanna

you don't like the 70's dirt bike look either huh. you got an R? if so do you know anything about the specifics from stock. like what makes it an R besides the visual stuff?

From all the compairing I've done, what visuals you can see, i.e. black motor and other black stuff, dual disks up front, the race decal on the tank, black dirt style handle bars...that's it. It just looks so much better to me squated down a bit in the rear like the XL50. That's why I asked the 50 owners this week how they liked the handling.
