After 2 trips to the seatler and the worst running bike ive ever ridden, After stealer saying they test rode it awhile(Lies) I research a stored code, look up solutions, did them, the last one was check the negative ground stud for tightness, and wow it was 2 full turns loose! If the stealer rode the bike ANY length of time they would have notices the crazy rpm's at stops(lasting forever at times) and the lugging, misfireing and general lack of the sound of a harley. I tightened that bad boy and in glad to say, I have a bike that runs like a brand new different bike! Man seriuosly, Im so relaxed from the month of stress over this. Didnt want to surrender the bike because it would never run right since after 2 dealer drop off they kept saying it was normal, ann the stuff it was doing. They should be sued, where they get their training? Clown collage?
Man it feels good to fineally ride a real running bike after a 2 months of torture!
Ha...once had the stealer tell me I need a turn/stop/indicator because it's faulty. That's a $360 sealed unit. Turns out when I removed the sissybar/luggage rack I yanked the wires a bit and damaged the indicator wire at the fender. I soldered it with a borrowed soldering iron. Yeah...
Oh some time this week they sure are going to know i fixed it. I mean WTF, i now know for sure they didnt even check the self Diag on the bike, it they did, the second time in they should have found this asap. Bike wont replicate the problems sitting there idleing and hooked to their silly computer. I love it when DYI works out, the stealer to me, shouldnt see any bike until a 10k manit IMO, Nothing should go wrong with a bike atleast until then. Maybe a DYI belt adjust or a chain adjust, Nope no stealer, DYI, pads, oils ect. Screw them.
Yes im going to ride the extra 50 miles to the Ironhorse dealer near me for any further problems.
