Does anyone have any proven take on these? Mines shot to hell and needs replaced.
The ones I am looking at are:
Daytona Twin Tec
Dyna 2000
Dyna 2000i
Crane Hi-4
The ones I am looking at come in a kit module/coil/wires.... I would also like to know if I should run dual or single fire. Any input by those who have used these would be greatly appreciated!
I have an 03 XLH 1200.... Single fire Ignition Kits Ignition kits are a great idea!!!.. what I would like to know is now that you have a programable kit ( Ultra to be exact and made by Dyna Tec ) this still leaves us all with a delema...the Bank angle sensor is still going to kick out 5 volts on the backside.... how do/ and what/ do you replace it with to get 12 volts to the ignition so you dont have to bypass it making it another usless piece of junk on the bike. I can interupt at the fuse box with a BAS that puts out 12 volts... but where would I find one??????
So with the TC88 basically you arent running off the bank angle sensor anymore? So this module would bolt in and then you would adjust the timing on the module instead of adjusting the timing by rotating the module?
I was replacing the cam seal in the cone. As I was removing the crane hi 4 ignition module and broke off one of the magnetic pickups. Will any othe module, ultima, dyna etc. be compatible with the existing set up?
