Not being a dick, you asked.

I hate the front end, I'd flip the mirror, I'd match the accents to current paint or close, ditch the useless and over the top sissy bar thing, the Punisher derby cover is way out of place now, rear wheel ain't right, I'd have to HT the rear end or bob the thing, and no way in hell I'd be w/o front brake. Other than that...

I tell ya something - the reaction you get from other riders when not having a front brake is exactly the same as the reaction you get from other people when you tell them you ride a motorcycle "OMG, they're SO dangerous" - and you know how you feel when people tell you that?

Do you know what the function of a rear brake is? Same as front - to stop you.

My other bike has TWO front brakes - that gives me two bikes with 4 rotors and 4 calipers, one for each wheel. Happy?

I appreciate the work you put into it but it has just way to much going on with it, if that makes any sense. And I dunno which bars are worse, these or the ones you had on before hehe. I will admit you are very brave for even attempting to ride with either of those

That may be true but the front brake is a whole lot better at stopping you in one of those "oh ****" moments. Then again, the rear won't flip you over the handlebars either

The bike is starting to look great. I do like the new bars. But I think the spoked rear wheel should definitely be the next priority when that wallet opens up again!

You do realize that ALL bikes come with both a front a rear right? There are times when you use one, the other, or both in most cases. Sometimes one or the other will fail as well. This is why cars have a front brake, rear brake, and an e-brake. If you REALLY need to stop FAST, you're probably screwed and I bet your braking distance, as shitty as it is to begin with on Sportsters, is most likely double or more than what it was. There are probably cases where that rear brake will boil and let you down as well...it's not designed, intended, or capable of performing like a front brake where 70+% of your stopping power likely is. It's your problem though, not ours, but if you ask what we think you can expect to hear it. Why ask then turn around and be a dick about it? Troll bait that's why. Hogdiver didn't even mean it the way I do and your reply was shitty...making you look like even more of a dick.

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH....... thank you for your unsolicited opinion. I shall do with what it cost. Your reply, and those like yours are exactly why I get touchy about the rear brake situation. You're all "OMG the sky is falling, meanwhile none of you have ever ridden a bike without a front brake.

I didn't ask you what I thought of the brake - I asked of the bars, douchebag.
