"O" Ring
Hi, I replaced this "O" Ring on my Road King two years ago. Bought the new ring at a Independant MC Dealer they knew exactly the size and what I was talking about. You don't even have to remove the gas since the ring just seals the fitting when the line is pressed in.. I used a pick as was mentioned. Just had to contort a bit to get under it. I was told these have been a problem since the Ethanol has been in the Gas. Total cost $.75. I was quoted $300 plus.
Amazon sells an assortment as well I think Viton is the material, you might want to do a search for Viton "O" Rings

It's a real shame that HD has taken the position of not selling just the O ring. Instead they will sell you the whole part that you really do not need, making you spend over 100 times more. Same thing applies for the fuel pump filter sock, they won't sell you just the filter. They will sell you the complete filter/pump rebuild kit for $100+. Things like that really irritate me about Harley.
