Default Forward controls
I'm interested in fitting forward controls to my 2011 Iron. I'm wondering if anybody has some tips on where to get some, or is it best to go with the standard Harley kit?

Any general pointers also appreciated!

I went the factory route, because I was in a hurry. Take your time and look at the options, there r many.

i have standard HD forwards and i couldnt live without them.
after a few days you will wonder how you ever rode with mids

I would recommend using the OEM Harley controls. There are a lot of Chinese knock-off control sets being sold much cheaper on the net, but most of them are junk quality.

I have the HD one on and love them. Like others have said, you can find cheeper ones but most will be junk.

Not according to the HD website. Only 04 and 05's are interchangeable. 06+ are all interchangeable...
