Hi everyone, hopefully will be getting a 48 soon, first Harley !
shop will be adding V&H short shots in black, stage 1 and screamin' eagle heavy breather ..any other mods that are worth doing ?
A couple that are pretty cheap and of you like the look is a tank lift, coil relocation and ignition relocation. Check out dk customs. Also get rid of those factory grips. They tear away from the custom look and just make it look factory unless of course you like them.

Consider V&H Side Shots instead of Short Shots. I believe they come in black also. They're a little more expensive, but they perform better. I have Short Shots on my '05 Custom that were put on by the previous owner. If I were to replace 'em I'd look @ the Side Shots. Gotta admit, I like the look of the Short Shots better, but the Side Shots have their PowerChamber crossover, so they function like 2 into 1's.
Hi Bud, I'd ditch the reflectors on the front forks ( cost $0 ) looks way better IMO. Also Harley Black Headlamp Surround darkens up the front end nicely for not much money.
In a perfect world (ie if I had money and brains lol), the first thing I'd have done would be suspension dialed in for my needs and brakes upgraded (at least the lines, but maybe XR1200 or PM caliper as well in the front) and THEN start with the fun...
As for Short Shots, I bought them myself, but then realized that every other bike out there had them too. They sound and look great, but honestly, if you want to look unique, don't get Short Shots
