I don't personally have these, but I think they would look good on your bike. They have a black pair too. The black ones are a little bigger but are cheaper.... Weird, right?
I've had coke bottles (got them from NMC) and they would have lasted forevermore now I have Biltwell's Kung Fu grips and I love them. So comfy. And they're cheap.
Those grips look like the exact same thing I had on my bmx bike when I was a kid. I believe they called them mushroom grips. I can't remember the manufacturer. Brings back some memories though.
I didn't even think about that. I got the Biltwell Whisky Throttle as well. The OP should be fine?
I wasn't able to get my stock grip off the throttle sleeve, I suppose if you wanted to cut it, it would surely come off. I bought a cheap $5 nylon sleeve with the grips from Get Lowered Cycles.
And to the post above.. yeah, they are just like the BMX grips.
Are the Kung Fu grips thicker than the thin OEM grips I have? I'd like a thicker one to help with cramping after a while.
Yes, that is the reason I got them. I went from stock to the Iso grips, but found those too thick. Went back to stock, and they felt a lot thinner (and harder) than I remembered. I kind of wanted the "nostalgic" coke-bottle type grips, but thought they would be too thick too, so I got the Kung-Fu grips hoping they would be a happy medium... and they are.
I still have my stock grips in the garage, if anyone wants a side by side pic and can't find one on Google or somewhere, I can snap one...

That would be cool. Thanks. Where did you get the sleeve for the throttle side?
