1600 miles in the future
I got my oil changed about 600 miles ago it was changed to syn3 i will be going on about a 1600 mile round trip sturgis to utah and back in a week should i change it before i leave and when i get back or just change it when i get back i see mixed reviews on harley syn3

Oil change interval on Evo Sportsters is 5000 miles. You can easily make that on synthetic (and then some). No need to waste money when your oil is still working fine.
As far as Syn3, you should just pick up some Amsoil/Mobile1/Redline or whatever other synthetic you prefer. Harley makes plenty of good things, but oil is not one of them.
