Default whoops bike drop

Im sure this threads been done before but im on my phone and its a pain...

Anyways had my first DOH! the other day. Had a green light in the turn lane so i had a little speed, hit a puddle of something. Leaned into the turn and the rear did a wobble which stood the bike up and pointed me right in the curb. Bike fell over and trapped my leg. I was fine had all my gear on just ended up with a sore arm. Bike only had two broken signal lights and gotta readjust bars. Also had to wait on a friend for oil cuz my spilled out when bike fell (worst oil cap ive ever seen didnt take much for that to pop off lol)

Tell ya what though my ego was bruised that was embarassing lol! Had like 5 cars immediately stop, someone called cops so within 2 min i had an officer and a firetruck. Damn i felt stupid haha...learned a few lessons though which is good.

Anyone else have any similar stories so i dont feel as bad

When I first started riding years ago, I had a BMW and I was timid with it. A friend and I were riding near the beach on a back road and I was starting to get more confidence in how far I could lean in slow turns. When we went to park, I turned it pretty hard but didn't notice the parking lot had sand patches all over it (or what sand even did to a bike). The back slipped out from under me and when I hit the ground, the handlebars turned so that the throttle was in my pocket and was making the bike go in circles on it's side, kinda like Curley in the three stooges. My friend said, "turn off the throttle!" to which I replied, "I can't it's in my pocket." I was fine, slightly scraped elbow that I was showing off in a group pic we took. Whenever we see a sand patch, my buddy says, "look, it's your arch nemesis!"

We were at a campground within a few days after getting this bike, and I ran up a steep paved incline, I circled around to come back down the hill, turned too sharp, ended up with the front tire in the dirt, and down it went. Front tire was at full turn and it just locked up. Took about 1 second to happen, no reaction time. I've never had that happen before, but, you gotta get the drop out of the way, and move on. We're all entitled to our 1 time, and you've had yours. Now, keep riding.

Dumped mine a few weeks back. Heading through a turn, hit sand/gravel and the bike went out from under me. I was fine (wearing my gear) but I bent the bars, dented and scratched the tank, and messed up the left side signals. Worst part was the bruised ego.

I've been riding quite awhile but not for a few years. Decided to take the
MSF course at the local community college. Rode the bike over and when I went to park my foot got caught between the shifter and the foot peg (new boots with big lugs on sole) almost went to the ground before I caught it.
Talk about embarrassing.
