Default New guy 'round here

Hey there y'all. I just picked up my 1200C last weekend and am loving it! I've got about 320 miles on it, and have been busy this week, so hopefully that number goes up. I'm hooked. I grew up on dirt bikes, then had a crotch rocket in my early 20's, and had to trade it for a four wheeler, cause the bike was going to kill me. Not sure if I would have died from being stupid on it, or from my legs falling off and me bleeding to death, but either way, it wouldn't have been good!
I've got more searching to do before I start askin' too many questions, but you can be assured I'll be askin' about adding a tach, some decent slip on pipes, some large saddle bags and brackets, detachable windshield, tool bag, and rain gear. Not exactly in that order cause saddlebags have to be first! Can't be makin' weekend trips w/o someplace for all my stuff.
Feel free to drop me any opinions, info on places to shop, and places to get info about what all works together (such as saddlebags, seats, turn signal arrangements) and things to look out for or helpful info. I'm new to Harleys and although my brother has had his Sporty for about 6 yrs. and his RK for a year now, there's still allot he doesn't know, or I forget to ask about.

Looks like a great site, and I look forward to being around.

Howdy, welcome to the forum. If you have questions that you want answered, you have come to the right spot. There are a lot of people on this forum that ride Sportys and you should be able to get plenty of advice. I might suggest one thing, make a post in the new member section of this forum and maybe more people might know that you have just arrived and looking for info. Enjoy the ride
