Default Front Turn Signal Relocation

I was feeling a bit crafty today and decided to do a cheap and easy relocation of my front turn signals with some parts I had laying around the garage. I had a couple of conduit hanger clamps and had seen somewhere else that they were used for the same purpose, so I broke out the rattle can, gave them a shot and bolted them up. Here's the results.

Cool idea and nice work. Any close ups? Can you post a pic of the clamps you used? I'm pretty sure I know what you used. I'd like to do this and not have any problems, since you already did the hard part of figuring it out. Thanks

Here is a link to the part that I used:
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...1#.UDrMyEVmycc

I've worked with conduit in the past and saw them sitting around and figured I'd try it out. I had to file the hole on the flat part a little larger to fit the 5/16 bolt to attach the turn signal. I applied a little Loc-Tite, threaded a nut up against the inside to keep it solid on the mount, and then twisted it into the light. I think the bolt was either 3/4" or 1" long. I didn't get a close up shot while I was working because I left a small blemish in the paint on the bracket that I need to touch up!

I can't take full credit because I did see a variation of this elsewhere but there wasn't a parts listing or walkthrough.

Nice job.
I'm using leather black outs on my upper forks so this method wouldn't work for me.
I would like to do something similar to this (from another hdforum member) but I'm not going to spend that much coin:
