Starting problem
Well, I have about 6k miles on my 03 Sportster 883.. On my way to work today I had a lil problem...
Rode about 30 miles, stopped for a bite to eat and then headed on into work, crossed a street got up to cruising speed about 30 and hear a light pop that sounded like it came from mid bike.. Tried to restart it with clutch in rolling along, starter didnt turn over, no clicking either, down shifted popped clutch an not even the slightest indication that it was going to fire.
Lost engine fire and the starter doesnt turn over by the switch, lights are still working and bright.
Let it set all night while I was at work and tried it again in the morning to no avail.
To my understanding I go 3 things I can check here:
Ground wire to the battery possibly loose?
Starter relay under seat left side bad?
"Circuit Breaker" at same location bad?
Wont have a chance to mess with it till thursday, any other things I should be checking?
TIA
Screwed back into the cage for a cpl days...
