Will the parts off new bikes like the 48 and iron fit on a bike from 1990 up?
I only ask because I love the look of those bikes but can not afford to get on, but still want some of the attitude. I have not bought a bike yet, hopefully a good deal will show up this winter.

Most of the parts will not interchange without some "creativity" aside from the simple things like bars, grips, and pegs. Seats, tanks, exhaust, fenders and so forth fit the differently designed frames and motor mounts, aside from carved vs fuel injected. There are plenty of parts and fabricators available to make your model look the way you want it to as finances allow.
