HD Passenger pillion

I asked this in another forum, figured i try here too. I picked up a harley passenger seat for my nightster, and i'm not happy with the fit. It seems sloppy where the two seats connect, with some side to side movemnet. I dont have the grab strap, could that be the issue? Everything else is installed correctly. Anyone have ideas?

More info plz. Don't have the strap or didnt install it? The strap cuts some slack betweeen the pad and mount. Did u try it with the strap?

I dont have the strap at all. I have seen two types of staps, one that connects to the underside of the main solo seat, and one that bolts to the fender.

ive got the same seat as you on the same bike.......the grab strap really tightens it up but makes it a real pain in the *** to swap out for my bare bones. once you take the strap off its not quite as solid but i dont really think its anything to worry about.
