87 sportster tail light problem
I have an 87 sportster 883 hugger, I recently just bought a doss tombstone tail light from J&P cycles (part number-3400520). Upon installing it the brake light would not work correcting, the brake light will work with no running light, but when i have the running light on the brake light does not engage when pressed down. I used a test light to figure out which wire controlled the running light and brake light. The running light is green off the bike and the brakelight is red off the bike. the tail light has 3 wires comming out of it black, blue, red. black is ground, blue is running and red is stop we assumed. like i said the brake light works when the key is in the on position, but does not engage in the running light position the light just stays bright and solid as if the brake light is always on. any help on this problem would be very helpful, thank you!!
