Looks a lot better than I expected, good decision. Like the custom photography style too.

I assume you got the vivid black and not primed? Are the clear pieces removable for painting or would it have to be taped? Any chance you could post a pic of the quick detach hardware on the bike without the fairing?

It looks good btw.. I voted against it, but since it's detachable and blocks wind, I have to change my vote.. it looks WAY better than any windshield.

Edit: I found close up pics.. not only is the windscreen removable, there are taller replacement versions available if needed for highway use. Nifty. Still like to know how that hardware mounts to the bike though.. I've got some odd shaped bars.

it mounts with clamps around the fork, the clamps contain the pieces that the fairing attaches to

taking off i can take off in 1 second, putting back on takes a couple more seconds till i get use to it
