Syn 3 or normal hd 20w50?
Hi, im soon coming upto the first service for my 2012 sportster 883 and dont know if to have the normal hd 20w50 oil or pay a bit more and get the syn 3 oil? just wondering what you guys think or use??

I am a huge fan of AMSoil having used their product for automotive racing and getting excellent results. My bike doesn't mind, but some folks say increased valve noise bothers them. You will get about 20 different directions on this but since you asked what I think:
ANYTHING BUT H-D products or Royal Purple and your machine should be ok.

oil is oil....use what ever you want....as long as it is the correct weight anything will work and it all works pretty much the same..
