Default Brake light relocation

07 Sportster 883

My nuts have finally gotten big enough to chop the rear fender and strut support. I bought dual filament bullet lights ($20) as brake lights and a 5 pin to 4 pin trailer conversion module ($15). The bullet lights have 2 wires, 1 being hot and the other I imagine is the ground.

The conversion module has 4 wires that run to the "trailer", or in my case bike. Ground, Right turn/Brake, Left turn/Brake but, only has 1 running light wire.

My question is this.......

After hooking up the ground, right turn/brake, left turn/brake..... can I split the single running light wire and run it to both right and left turn/brake lights so I can accomplish my mission.

Any help and/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mike
