Default Cleaning engine cases

I have a Nightster and I'm curious what you guys use and how you clean them especially with them being a pourus texture. Mine have some stains on them, some sort of splatters of something and I'd really like to get em cleaned up. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

Kerosene, WD-40 cleans very well, but its more of a finishing touch, kerosene is for the super duty cleaning. Either way use some type of brush with it

Dawn dishsoap mixed with hot water and a toothbrush is what I use.
