Front suspension sag?

I have stock springs in front. It was time to change the oil and I thought while there I'd adjust the preload. After test ride everything seems better, front is not bottoming out any more when hard on brakes.
However, the feel is so different I started wondering if I overcooked a little. The front is fully extended under bike weight, when I sit on it the sag is 1"-1.25".
What you think?

Read the 7 pages of suspension over on XL. With your R the rider sag on your forks should be about 1/3 of total travel.

Yeah that dude is a sportster suspension freakin rocket scientist. All things suspension........I listen to him. You can post what you did and your issues in a new thread over there and he WILL answer.
