Default pullback bars

Is it true what I heard? You can put pullback handlebars on an '07 Sporty without changing the cables?

Probably true but I'm pretty sure you would at least need to change the brake line.

I'm not real comfortable with the stock bars on my '04 C and was considering either the miniapes (pretty tall on that stock riser) and the buckhorns (kinda narrow). I looked at your photo gallery to see how you routed cables, and I notice you have the throttle cables behind the fork instead of in front. Is there any problem with it crimping or pinching and are you satisfied with using the stock cables? Did you have to do anything to the clutch cable? How long over stock size did you have to get for the front brake cable? Given the option, would you replace all of them?

Thanks.

i dont think they changed a bunch from 04 to 07 ive got 9 3/4" risers with a 2.5" pullback and a straight bar, the brake line had to be "tweaked" a bit and i had to steal as much wire as i could from down the line. but it does work. flip the speedo over above the tank, way cooler

No problem with the Throttle Cables, I plan to replace them however, not just an upgrade, it is the right way to do it, so I guess you should say I am not satisfied with using them like this. The Brake Line is just a couple inches longer, I think thereis only one listed. I'll check to be sure and get back to ya. Now remember the Bars I have now are not the Sportster Pullbacks, they are from a Dyna Lowrider, don't have part number, they are wider and have about 2" more rise than the Sportster Pullbacks. Wiring was very close to having to be extended. I have every single inch of slack pulled up to the riser to pull this off!

think it says right in the manual that the cables / lines were made long enough just for that purpose.
