First that is a beautiful sporty your wifey has there.
I have a set of these boards on my 2001 sporty. They vibrate so hard, and the rubber grips on the boards is so hard, that my feet kept sliding off at highway speeds. I like the boards so I went to the hardware store and bought some self adhesive stripes of anti skid tape. I cut the stripes to the proper width and install them. Now my feet are very firm and don't slip a bit (up to 80 mph) so far.
I don't know yet, but I just might have created a high speed boot sole sander.
