Default Winter projects....

Ok this thread will be updated throughout the winter for the projects I am going to take on to upgrade my nightster (more than it already is).

Bike: 2008 Nightster Olive green/black denim

The list consists of:
Custom (fabbed by me) 5+ gal tank using a repro tank from J&P
New aftermarket wheels
Taillights relocation
Extended forward controls (milled by me, perks of working in a steel mill)
Headlight relocation
Speedo relocation
Finish blacking out the motor
Complete wire removal and reinstall (for a cleaner than tucked look)

Thats all I can think of right now.

The tank fab is going to be one of the biggest projects. I am wanting to go to a 5-6 gal tank while keeping the lines of the original tank (no 1200C swap for me )

I will start with this: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/721-735 and cut it up and add length and width to it to give me added fuel capacity.

The headlight relocation is already in the process. I will get pics and get them uploaded SOON!

Ive got the SE plugs and wires on mine and the wires made a hell of a difference. It got a better response and get up. BUT..... I wouldnt waste money on the plugs honestly. Theyre no better than the stockers IMO.

Hoping to do a rear fender swap to a bobtail style. We'll see how much $$ is left after Christmas for the 3 kids.
