I am tired of constantly stopping for fuel
on every road trip, plus, it pisses off the
people I ride with.
My question is, will a nightster tank bolt
on without a bunch of bullshit modifications,
will my fuel pump work it the nightster tank,
and what is the fuel capacity ?
I've been thinking about this too. I've seen guys do a tank lift and relocate of the key fob, etc. this leaves a huge space above the front cylinder. Would be really nice if a company made a smaller/sister tank to go down there.. mm... has this been done?
i just like the stock 48 tank look and dont want to swap it. :/
Get the 4.5 gallon tank and just switch it off and on when you go on a long road trip. Tanks are extremely easy to swap. I take my tank off whenever I do any work that may cause me to hit it with a wrench.
4.5 gallon tank should get you nearly 200 miles before neeing a fill.
