Hey you Guys..... I have the opportunity to buy a set of forward controls for a 2012 Sporty. I have a 2006 1200r with mids that I just bought. I don't see why they wouldn't fit my ride. I can get them for $150.00. What do you think?

These are take-offs from a 2012 Sporty and you want to put them on a XL1200R? $150 sounds inexpensive. Be certain that you are getting everything you need and the color you want. Maybe take a look at this to see if everything is there:
$150 is a great price. I put a set on my 883. Bought em new for around $400 I think. They made all the difference in the way I ride. And I think they look better than the mids.
I will definitely check the fitment and parts. I want black but these are chrome but I can afford these. BTW I started riding when I was 14. My last ride was a 1960 Pan head kicker. Riding was interrupted by a 20 yr. prison term ( marriage ) and I was paroled ( divorced ) last year.
