Default Gas Tank mod

I have a 2008 Sporty roadster. My question is; can I put a EFI dyna tank on it? Do I need to change the fuel pumps?
Anything else I need to know?
Thanks

Good questions! One way of learning a little more is to go to Ronnies HD website, where you can look at the parts microfiches for your bike and Dynas from the same years, to see if pump part numbers are the same.

You can either do that or just ask if someone on the Dyna forum has the Parts catalog. The fuel pump part # for my 2007 Sporty is 75268-07.

The Sporty and Dyna frames are different in size and the fuel tanks are not near "bolt-on" interchangeable. Now, if your fabrication and welding skills are good enough, I suppose you could make something that will fit.
The fuel pump is the least of your issues.

+1 I have seen it done, but like was said it's going to take some fabing. Not sure on the fuel pump.
