Things have been slow to sell around Memphis also. Worked out well for me tho, I gave $3k for my 05 1200r with 16k miles. So, I'm all about lowballing offers. lol Especially when it comes to the dealers.

When I traded in my 06 sporty to the dealer 1 1/2 years ago, they gave me 4000 for it. They probably paid 3500 if it was a trade. Then figure another 500 to get it on the floor. I'm guessing they would let it go for 5K. They like to make at lest 1K on it.

They sold my sporty in a week

Good attitude. The best possible thing you can do to strengthen your bargaining position is be ready to walk away from the deal.

The dealership owes you an answer on your offer, even if that answer is "No".

BTW, I happen to like the Sunburst Yellow.

The bike was in very good condition with Stage 1 upgrade and a lot of bling upgrades.
Do ya think I low balled them too much to the point of insulting them or was this a resonable offer?
You didn't insult them. It is not like its a private owner trying to sell a bike for $10k and you went in and offered them $4. I think your playing it perfect. Just let them sit on the offer. They will either get a better offer or you will find a better deal locally in the classifieds. You might consider going into the dealer in a few weeks under the guise of pricing some parts for another bike your thinking about buying. Then you can see if the bike is still there and if they are ready to deal yet.

Pssst.......Sunburst Yellow is a color that looked good on that Sporty and I would not mind it at all. I just didn't want the dealership to know that
