clutch cable broke

clutch cable broke

I need help my clutch cable broke and I replace it but while putting in the new clutch cable I over tighten and it broke off. The screw is stuck on the cover. What are the suggestion of what i should do

Not exactly sure which screw you're talking about. The adjusting screw that goes into the side engine case? If so can you get an easy-out into it or is the cable still intact? You may have to take that case off.

go get the tool called a grab it from home depot.

The bolt that broke is the clutch that connects to the motor . The clutch cable is connected to the motor still

. I would need to cut the cable and untreat the clutch cable the clutch cable is hollow and grab it is for a bolt

You're going to have to pull the cover back off the tranny and go ahead and cut the cable. You will have to get another cable. Now, with the tranny cover in front of you, maybe you can back out the hollow threaded piece of the nut with an easy out. Good luck.
