I have a 2007 1200 Nightster and i am looking to upgrade the engine a bit more. I already have the screamin eagle fuel tuner, air intake and vance and hines short shots. I have forward controls and 14" apes as well. I was just wondering what could i safely do to make the motor even stronger? Cams? Fuel Management? Heads? Lifters?
I am new to the harley world but have worked on cars forever.
What would you guys suggest for my next engine mods?
You should talk to Dan at NRHS, he can give you the best advise on further upgrades and what order to do them in.
Anything is possible...as long as money is no object.
Agreed, Dan at NRHS can give good input on what's next.
In the meantime, $25 on some Thunder Torques will give a nice bump in low & mid range torque...in the neighborhood of 10%. Can't get more felt power per $ than that.

Short explanation- The Thunder Torque Inserts have a proprietary shape that increase exhaust gas velocity, thereby reducing reversion, which reduces engine pumping losses, and increasing inertial scavenging. Net result is a significant increase in power & torque in the low and mid range Without sacrificing any top end.
