Accessory connection
'08 XL, remove the tail light lens, and on the upper left side of the circuit board there is a 3 connector socket that has nothing plugged into it. Does anyone know what this is used for. I've gone all through the electrical manual, and diagrams, and cannot find a use for it. I put a meter to it, and it has power there.
Anyone know what it is used for? I figured maybe the same circuit board is used for another model?? I am thinking about using it to power a side license plate light. Anyone have a part number for the 3 terminal plug that would fit in there?

So now I'm answering my own questions...found this on the Dyna forum. Very helpful if anyone here needs a power source at the rear of the bike.
Pin 1 = tail light
Pin 2 = brake light
Pin 3 = ground
Amp Socket Wiring Housing 3-Position p/n 73153-96BK
