little black box

87 sporty. Just on the main side of the wiring harness (just before the 6-pin connector to the rear lights, and under the seat) are two little black boxes (about 1" by 3/4" by 1/2" each) that the rear turn signals feed through. They are not cancellation modules - I don't have those. Each one has two electrical components... one is a capacitor, not sure about the other. They obviously make the rear turn signals flash. Anyone know what they are called? Are they stock? One of them seems not to be working - what should I replace them with?

Do you have l.e.d. turn signals? They may be load equalizers. A pic would most likely net a more accurate answer.

Photos will help a lot. Take a look at the parts microfiche on Ronnies HD website to see if there is anything like them. There is a risk they are something a previous owner has installed.
