Sportster shopping and need your advice...

I wouldn't worry about the miles, my partner has over 25k on his 2001 sporty and it runs very well, I would be more concerned of who ownes them, if they were taken care of or ran into the ground, in the wrong hands a bike can be ruined with low miles..

get the one you like the most. the milage you are talking about is so low it really doesn't factor in unless you see some signs of abuse. Ask for info or receipts on schedule maintenance done. the money you save by getting the mods you want already on the bike could be put toward any break downs in the future rather than having to purchase the mods after purchasing the lower milage un-modded sporty which could also break down anytime too. always buy the one that catches your eye and quickens your pulse!

No problem - get the one you like. I just turned 17023 miles on my 2009 XL883L and it runs like a top. Plenty more life in the old girl!
