So I bought my '05 sporster, it has some modifications to make is sleeker. Bobbed fender, little LED brake light mounted down by the shock, K & N filter, some "super" exhaust I don't even know what it is.
I'm getting a new full fender painted right now, bought a tombstone taillight with turn signals on it for on the fender, crash bar with highway pegs, saddle bags.
I'm sure the guy I got if from would be cringing, but it's my first bike and I'm almost 50 yrs old, I'm not going to be racing around.....
Hubby wasn't so fond of the saddlebags I picked out, my reply to him was his bike was the Ultra sitting in the garage and unless he wanted me to start modifying his.....don't worry about what i pick out, just put it together. I won

You should post those parts in the f/s forum on here, I'm sure they'd sell quick. Hell, I might even take the rear fender off your hands. Good luck with your new bike and ride safe!!
Ditch the crash bars, keep the bags, and the husband.
