I am in the progress of removing all the stock pieces from my 48 and adding on the big radius
I am stuck on the part where I need to remove the old bracket and install the new. It said to remove the brake rod from the rear. Am I loosening the end of the brake rod with a torque driver? Its just super tight and I am not sure if I should be doing it cause I feel like its going to snap.
Yes, you need a torx bit/star bit to remove the brake rod lever. Get a torx bit ratchet bit. (Harbor freight cheap kit)Don't try to use a torx bit style allen wrench. You might end up stripping the bolt. It's on tight, but will snap lose with a quick pull of the correct torx bit and ratchet wrench. Removal of the stock exhaust takes longer than installing the new pipes.
