Hi all - I'm about to order a new low-profile LED taillight (Drag Specialties) and some deuce/bullet-style turn signals for the ol' red XL1200C. Leaning toward sticking with red for the taillight, but wondering how smoked or clear lenses all around would look..... whatcha think??
(Also relocating front turns to the triple-tree, and maybe removing reflectors.)
I like the smoked lens look. I have them on both bikes. Hate Red & Amber!
Yes - that's a nice look.
Can anyone tell me what (if any) changes were made to Sportster tail lights? I see some that are supposed to fit '99-'03, others that say '02 and up, others that are '98 and up... I can deal with some re-wiring, as long as the lens assembly fits. [EDIT: NVM - an H-D parts finder tells me the tail light base is the same from '99 to at least '02]
Thanks for the help.
