Default Wire wrap?

I put 16" apes on my sportster, love it! I want to clean up the look for the electrical wiring from the top down to the forks on my new bars (already did braided for the throttle and clutch cable. My plan was to put the flex conduit over the wires to bring them together, now I'm looking for something to wrap the conduit with. The only thing I have found in the auto parts store is the foil 'chrome' duct tape. I'm afraid that will look like crap though. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would suggest shrink wrap, but you will have to disconnect the wires to slide it on. Why not internally wire the bars so you have no wires on the outside?

What he said. If you're gonna cut the wires anyway to slip the shrink tubing on might as well run them internal. Of course your bars need to be drilled and dimpled if you're running stock Hd controls. Good luck.

cheap azs mod for diy braided cables

get to home depot or such and get braided water line hose

eastman ice maker water line to be exact ---
cut the ends off
and slide the braided line off the water line -
remove your lines or whatever u wanna cover
tape the ends to hold it in place then heat shrink ends over the tape you placed
instant cables
A dissected stainless steel braided ice maker line set.
Cost $20.02 out the door for 20 feet.

IMO, the 3/8" braid would be perfect for things like spark plug wires, vacuum hoses, fuel lines, clutch/brake cable, etc..
but u can also buy larger diameter lines for bigger projects
just 5 or 10 minutes a line an u have custom braided lines
