O4 -newer fork tubes
Hey all. Old biker/new poster here - Primarily an old Rat Beemer guy. I recently bought an 04 883 XL C. (the little thing was just too cute to resist for the price). Anyway... I would like to extend the forks just a little, say 2-4 inches. I have had a hell of a time finding anyone that sells - or at least lists - fork tubes for this bike. I can get em from Franks (hell, you could probably get 12 over tubes for an Ariel Square 4 from frank's) but, the're pretty pricey. This "C" model has a lot of stuff different from the other models iv'e noticed (e.g.- factory forward foot controls). So, is this the same front end from any other models - Dyna, etc. & if not, does anyone have any other suppliers? Oh.BTW- You all seen the bolt on raked triple tree/
extended fork "chopper" kitsout for the 04+ sportys now? $16-1800.00!!! day-am... thats twice what tubes & a billet tree would run.
