Default 48 with acceleration problems

My buddy has a 2010 48 that idles fine, but when he accelerates from a stop, the bike will hesitate almost like it wants to cut off, but then takes off like a rocket. There is a recall on that model and it's fuel cap. Has anyone else had this issue and what is the fix.

Ever put some Seafoam through it? Cheap and can't hurt.

I would pull the injectors clean and soak them in sea foam or gasoline over night, and then replace them and see if it works. If it doesn't then i would replace the fuel line and get new injectors spark plugs and wires. Replace them all at the same time as to avoid having to find another issue down the line. Usually things like to mess up in sequence to other problems.

But it sounds like his injectors may be clogged up and its not giving even spray. But try what waht Jester said and run some seafoam before you starting taking parts off.
