Default An amazing transformation
Well, I took the plunge today. I had the Stage 1 kit, Race Tuner and Vance & Hines Staight Shot slip-ons installed on my new '07 XL1200 Custom. When we cranked this baby up for the first time it was, how do I put this... incredible. This bike truly sounds amazing and I can't speak highly enough about Vance & Hines. I had a set on my previous Honda and I'm just as impressed this time around.

Congrats on the new scoot and pipes. Do you, or anybody reading this, know how the V&H sound compared to Screamin Eagles? (which I have)

Do you, or anybody reading this, know how the V&H sound compared to Screamin Eagles? (which I have)
I personally think the V & H are somewhat louder than the Screamin Eagle II's.

I'm not really sure. When I asked the folks at the dealership about it, they said that they thought I would be disappointed with the SEII's. I thought this was nice since the V&H are cheaper.
