Short shots
Hello from LA [lower Al]. I have a 06 1200r which is my 2nd Harley and god only knows how many other bikes I have owned.Just really like the sportsters.Does anyone know if the V&H short shots will fit this bike? Looks like the mid pegs would not allow it but the fitment list says all XL's. Thanks in advance.

I have the shorts on my deuce and was looking, as you are now, to see if they could be put on my wifes 883L. Like you said, on V&Hs website it looks like the mid controls would be a problem, but fitment doesn't say that. I did manage to find a picture somewhere on here of a sportster with the shortshots installed and in that picture (the bike had forwards) it looked like mid controls would clear and not be a problem. I hope I didn't confuse you further. I guess what I'm saying is they should fit. I ended up going with the straightshot HS slipons, so I don't know for sure.
