Personally...I like the rake. Throw some taller bars, solo seat, sissy-bar, chopped rear fender and white-wall tires on there to make it a nice look'n chop-bob.

Hiya Chris, I'm in Calgary.

I like the rake on it too. I'd say change the bars, maybe look at a spring solo seat.

Search this site and others for Sporty pics ... get some ideas from there. Take your time and enjoy riding it this summer vs. spending $$$$ now on parts you wont want or need once you decide what to modify.

Dunno if a speedo relocation would be appropriate for whatever style your going for, but I always thought the tall speedo sticking up looked kinda goofy on sportys. Especially with those lower bars.

totally agree I need higher bars but wondering if 10 inch would look goofy with the rake on it... i do have a sissy bar that quick connects to the back, and with the chopped fender not quite sure as per where to chop it at... Def a fun project, lost a mirror today tho so gotta get a set of those on order as well

it would be cool to find a wa yo add a tach, either add a nice mini-tach to the bars or relocate the speedo to the below the tank and put a full size tach where the speedo is now. you could do the side by side, but it may not look as good.
